For all versions of Windows including Windows XP, you can download and use the driver astra2500.exe above.
For Windows XP, usually by downloading and installing the driver for Umax Astra 2500 for Windows XP, the scanner will work. But in case the scanner will not be detected at all, try to check either the printer
(in case one is connected) or the settings of the parallel port in the Bios of your PC.
Make sure these two items are working before installing the driver for Astra 2500.
